NINE INNING CLASSIC — PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 31, 2026

I am David Volk, owner of Nine Inning Classic, selling on Etsy as NineInningStore. This policy describes how I use personal information when you purchase from my shop, contact me, or subscribe to my newsletter.

INFORMATION I RECEIVE

Etsy provides information relevant to your purchase, which may include your name, Etsy username, email address, billing or delivery address, order details, and payment status. I do not receive your payment-card details.

I also receive information you voluntarily provide through Etsy Messages, email, customer-support requests, or newsletter signup.

HOW I USE INFORMATION

I use customer information to:

• Process and fulfill orders for digital and printed products.
• Communicate about purchases and provide related customer support.
• Maintain business and tax records.
• Address disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws.
• Send an optional newsletter when you have expressly agreed to receive it.
• For U.S. customers only, I may send one email asking whether you agree to receive the newsletter.

NEWSLETTER AND MARKETING

Purchasing from my shop does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.

With your express consent, I may send a newsletter containing discussion of Nine Inning Classic, game news, and new product offerings.

You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting me or using an unsubscribe option provided in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary communications about your orders.

INFORMATION SHARING

I do not sell customer personal information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

I share information only as necessary with:

• Etsy, to fulfill transactions, provide support, and meet my obligations as a seller.
• Service providers that help operate my business, including Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence and delivery services for printed orders.
• Professional advisers or public authorities when reasonably necessary for tax matters, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS AND EXTERNAL LINKS

Most digital products are delivered through Etsy’s download system.

The computer program is supplied through a Microsoft OneDrive download link. Buyers do not need to provide me with an email address or have their email address added to OneDrive to access that link. The shared file contains the product, rather than customer records.

I may also use TinyURL to provide shorter links, including links supplied with gift purchases. I do not submit buyer names or email addresses to TinyURL to create these links.

When you follow an external link, the service provider may collect technical or usage information, such as an IP address, browser information, or access logs, under its own privacy practices.

ETSY’S OWN RECORDS

Etsy independently collects, uses, and retains information under its own privacy policy:

https://www.etsy.com/legal/privacy/

This shop policy concerns information under my control. Requests concerning records independently controlled by Etsy should be directed to Etsy.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS PROTECTED BY EU/EEA DATA-PROTECTION LAW

This section applies where my processing of your personal information is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It supplements the general policy above.

Who is responsible

I, David Volk, am the controller of the personal information I use to operate Nine Inning Classic. My contact details appear below.

Legal bases

I process personal information on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to fulfill your purchase and provide related customer support.
• Legal obligations: to maintain legally required records and comply with binding legal requirements.
• Legitimate interests: to maintain necessary business records, protect my business against fraud, and handle disputes or legal claims, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: to send an optional newsletter.

Information necessary to complete an order is required for that transaction. Without it, I may be unable to fulfill your purchase. Newsletter signup is optional.

Retention

For information covered by this section, I limit retention to the period reasonably necessary for the purpose involved, including fulfilling orders, providing related support, meeting applicable recordkeeping requirements, and handling legal claims.

I periodically review information under my control and delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed for these purposes.

Newsletter information is retained while your subscription remains active. After you unsubscribe, I may retain a minimal record of your opt-out to respect your marketing preferences.

International processing and safeguards

I operate in Pennsylvania, United States, and process customer information there. Using Etsy and Microsoft services may also involve processing information in the United States or other countries.

Microsoft states that it uses safeguards for international transfers, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses where applicable. Microsoft Corporation also participates in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for personal information received within the scope of its certification.

These are Microsoft’s safeguards; Nine Inning Classic does not claim its own Data Privacy Framework certification. Details about Microsoft’s safeguards, certification, and privacy contacts are available in the “Storage and processing of personal data” section of its privacy statement:

https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement

Etsy’s international processing and transfer safeguards are described in Etsy’s own privacy policy:

https://www.etsy.com/legal/privacy/

The general OneDrive and TinyURL links described above do not require me to upload buyer contact information to those services. Information those providers collect directly when you visit their services is addressed in their privacy policies.

Your rights

Subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal information and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion.
• Restrict processing.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Receive certain information in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority, including in the EEA country where you live or work.

Contact me to exercise these rights or request further information about relevant safeguards. I may need to verify your identity before responding. Some information may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

CUSTOMERS IN OTHER LOCATIONS

Customers outside the scope of the GDPR section may have privacy rights under other applicable laws. Please contact me with privacy questions or requests.
