When it was time to find a new job, I started updating my resume, only to realize that after a while I couldn't bare looking at a plain, black and white document filled with text that said nothing about my personality or who I was behind the highly technical skills I tried to portray.
Having acquired a strong passion for design, I decided to create a visual resume in Microsoft Word, incorporating color and shapes that allowed my personality to stand out, a little (and my resume too!).
After creating and sending my new resume, I started getting a lot of calls for interviews and became convinced that my resume design WAS noticed in a large pile of emails.
