Sobre a Slate & Rowan
About Slate & Rowan
A Slate & Rowan agora oferece duas coleções complementares.

A friend introduced me to genealogy, and I was drawn to it immediately: the mystery of finding my ancestors, the satisfaction of discovering them in the records, and the sense of belonging I found in understanding my roots.
But researching independently can be difficult, especially when you’re beginning. There are records to find, unfamiliar terms to understand, and questions about what the information actually tells you. It’s easy to feel interested and overwhelmed at the same time.
That’s why I started Slate & Rowan.
I wanted to help beginners make sense of the process with practical tools for organizing information, examining sources, and deciding what to investigate next. A system that leaves room for questions and helps you see your progress, even when you haven’t found every answer.
Slate & Rowan now offers two companion collections. The Beginner System helps you organize people, sources, record searches, and research contacts. The Advanced Collection extends that approach to conflicting evidence, same-name identities, migration, FAN connections, and brick walls. Each can stand on its own, and they also work together as your research grows. Choose a complete collection or the individual tools you need; the two collections are sold separately.
My hope is to help turn “I can’t do this” into “Now this makes sense”—while leaving plenty of room for the mystery, satisfaction, and connection that drew me to genealogy in the first place.
