About the Artist
Ciao!
Significa davvero tantissimo per me.
Hi! I'm Katrina, the artist behind Stitch & Stem.
I've always loved trying new crafts, but creating art from real pressed flowers is the one that truly captured my heart. Every piece begins with dried flowers that I arrange into whimsical animals inspired by nature. Many of these designs also become downloadable PDF hand embroidery patterns, so fellow makers can stitch them to life with needle and floss.
Creativity has always been part of my life. My late mom inspired my love of crafting. From a young age, she taught me how to sew and crochet, and throughout my life we shared countless creative adventures. We painted, made mosaics, experimented with glass art, and even designed our own Christmas cards every year. There was always a new project waiting for us. I started this business after she passed away, and I like to think she would be proud to see me finding my creative path on my own.
I hope my artwork brings a little joy, wonder, and a touch of nature into your home.
Thank you for supporting my small business. It truly means the world to me.
