Art from the soul

Hi all!

My name is Rae (they/she) and I'm a 21 year old living in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I have always felt things deeply and sensitively. I feel like my art is very much a reflection of the depths of my own emotions and experiences. It is a cathartic experience for me to release my emotions onto paper, or canvas. These past few years I've had quite a few hardships that have pushed me into my healing journey, including being diagnosed with a chronic illness and neurodivergence. My art collection is something very close to my heart, and a lot of these pieces were created during my times of turmoil, but also in my times of hope, evolution and light. I want to share this art to represent the rollercoaster that is not only the healing journey, but the human experience. I hope you all can relate, feel less alone, and most of all have hope.
