ThePresentExplorer é meu pequeno negócio que comecei em junho de 2020. Na verdade, comecei como um blog de viagens, compartilhando minhas aventuras de mochila ao redor do Sri Lanka e europa, voluntariando histórias, e como era a vida quando transformamos nosso Jeep em um lar e vivemos na natureza por 4 meses.

Sempre tive uma paixão pelas artes. Aos 12 anos foi quando comecei a entrar na fotografia, desenho e pintura. Então, em 2020, entrei no barro e comecei a compartilhar minhas criações com o mundo. Sou um grande viajante e estou sempre ao ar livre, explorando e vendo este lindo planeta. Pessoalmente, sinto o meu melhor quando estou desconectado da ocupação da vida cotidiana e apenas estar completamente no momento na natureza. É aí que encontro a maior parte da minha inspiração, de apenas estar presente, observando, mergulhando na luz do sol e explorando (daí "O Explorador Presente").

Sou uma única mulher e faço todo o design, criação, agendamento, postagem, promoção, fotografia, embalagem, expedição e atendimento ao cliente tudo na estrada na minha van! É muito trabalho e eu amo cada minuto dele. Cada criação que faço tem amor e boa energia derramada nele porque eu quero que ela irradie. Quero que as pessoas pendurem sua nova arte em seus lugares favoritos e sintam o amor. Quero que traga alegria, calma, positividade e adicione um toque ao ar livre à sua casa. Muitas das minhas peças também provêm do autocuidado/saúde mental, por isso é importante para mim que meu trabalho tenha mensagens.

Outra grande coisa para mim é a embalagem, eu sinto que faz parte da experiência especialmente quando alguém está escolhendo comprar de uma pequena empresa em vez de uma grande empresa. Você quer fazer seu cliente se sentir especial e feliz. Eu sempre uso embalagens de baixo desperdício com etiquetas de nomes personalizadas, e plantas secas que eu forragei. Quero que sinta que estão abrindo um presente mesmo que tenham comprado para eles mesmos.

A partir de 2021, o ThePresentExplorer agora é uma loja itinerante. O tempo é gasto viajando pelo país na minha van auto-convertida vivendo fora da grade e criando novas ideias a cada dia na natureza. Minha vida dos sonhos é possível graças ao amor e apoio dos meus clientes.

ThePresentExplorer is my small business that I first started in June of 2020. I actually started as a travel blog, sharing my backpacking adventures around Sri Lanka and Europe, volunteering stories, and what life was like when we turned our Jeep into a home and lived in nature for 4 months.

I have always had a passion for the arts. At the age of 12 is when I first started getting into photography, drawing and painting. Then in 2020 I got into clay and began sharing my creations with the world. I'm a huge traveler and am always outdoors, exploring and seeing this beautiful planet. Personally I feel my best self when I am disconnected from the busyness of everyday life and just being completely in the moment out in nature. That is where I find most of my inspiration, from just being present, observing, soaking in the sunshine and exploring (hence "The Present Explorer").

I am a one woman show and do all of the designing, creating, scheduling, posting, promoting, photographing, packaging, shipping and customer service all on the road in my van! It's a whole lot of work and I love every minute of it. Each creation that I make has love and good energy poured into it because I want it to radiate. I want people to hang up their new art in their favorite places and feel the love. I want it to bring people joy, calmness, positivity and add a touch of the outdoors to their home. A lot of my pieces also stem from self care/mental health as well so it's important to me that my work has messages.

Another big thing for me is the packaging, I feel it is part of the experience especially when someone is choosing to purchase from a small business rather than a large company. You want to make your customer feel special and happy. I always use low waste packaging with custom name tags, and dried plants that I foraged. I want it to feel like they are opening a gift even if they bought it for themselves.

As of 2021 ThePresentExplorer is now a traveling shop. Time is spent traveling the country in my self-converted van living off grid and creating new ideas each day in nature. My dream life is made possible thanks to my customers' love and support.
