I was Fired!
Bueno, el titular lo dice claramente. Fue mi primer despido lo que impulsó este negocio. Mi esposa y yo estábamos hablando de montar un negocio relacionado con el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, pero todo empezó cuando me despidieron.
Disfruté tanto creando narrativas y mapas para que mis amigos los disfrutaran mientras exploraban y escapaban de la realidad, que me surgió una idea. ¿Por qué no convertirlo en un negocio? Si bien la idea surgió de repente, ¡me encanta!
Entonces descubrimos que fabricar nuestros propios dados, figuras, baratijas y demás era muy gratificante. La gente nos preguntaba al respecto y aquí estamos, poco después del nacimiento de La Guarida del Vampiro, produciendo todo lo que usamos.
¡Estoy deseando ver adónde nos lleva este camino!
Well, the headline says just that. Was being fired for the first time that started this business. My wife and I were talking about setting up a DND based business, but it was jump started by me getting fired.
I found such enjoyment, creating a narratives and maps for my group of friends to enjoy as they quest and escape reality, that it sparked an idea. Why don't I do it for a business? Granted the idea was jumped started rather suddenly, but I love it!
Then we found making our own dice, figures, trinkets and such was just a fulfilling! People were asking us about it and here we are, not long after the birth of The Vampire's Lair, we have started producing all the stuff we use.
I am excited to see where this road goes!!!
