¡Saludos, compañeros amantes de las velas! ¡Mi nombre es Leah, y quiero agradecerte por visitar mi tienda! La mayor parte de Internet me conoce como "LeahMouse", la chica de pelo colorido con un par de canales de YouTube y un sinfín de acentos tontos.

Siempre me han fascinado las cosas más espeluznantes de la vida, y en 2011, cuando probé por primera vez la fabricación de velas, "Gothic Dream" fue mi primera creación. Disfruté ser creativo con los nombres de las velas y experimentar con diferentes aromas juntos para crear algo completamente único. No tenía idea de que mi pasatiempo florecería en un mercado exitoso de velas espeluznantes y alternativas. Pero, ¡chico, estoy feliz de que lo haya hecho!

Comencé poco a poco con una tienda de Etsy (que me llevó un par de semanas incluso descubrir cómo usarla), y a lo largo de los años mis ideas y mi base de clientes siguieron creciendo. Ahora tengo la tienda de Etsy (también llamada Underworld Connection) y este sitio web, los cuales ahora soy experto en correr, jeje.

Utilizo cera de soja totalmente natural para mis velas, lo que hace que la quemadura sea ecológica y limpia, y un excelente lanzamiento de olor. Vierto a mano cada vela a medida que se ordena, por lo que nada está sentado en un estante, acumulando polvo, esperando un hogar. Y mi giro favorito (sin juego de palabras) es el remolino de cera característico que pongo encima de cada vela.

No tengo empleados, asistentes, gerentes de marketing, contadores o diseñadores de sitios web, todo este shebang es 100% todo yo. Lo admito, es un trabajo duro ser un espectáculo de una sola mujer, a menudo hasta 20 horas de días de trabajo. ¡Pero realmente amo cada segundo! Y no podría haber llegado tan lejos sin ustedes, todos los amantes de las velas, que aprecian mis velas tanto como yo. Y espero que podamos seguir creciendo juntos durante el mayor tiempo posible.

Greetings, fellow candle-lovers! My name is Leah, and I want to thank you for visiting my shop! Most of the internet knows me as "LeahMouse" - the colorful-haired whacky girl with a couple of YouTube channels and endless silly accents.

I've always been fascinated by the spookier things in life, and in 2011 when I first tried my hand at candle-making, "Gothic Dream" was my very first creation. I enjoyed getting creative with the candle names and experimenting with different scents together to create something entirely unique. I had no idea my hobby would bloom into a successful market for spooky and alternative candles. But, boy am I happy that it did!

I started small with an Etsy shop (which took me a couple of weeks to even figure out how to use), and over the years my ideas and customer base just kept on growing. Now I have the Etsy shop (also called Underworld Connection) and this website - both of which I'm now at expert at running, hehe.

I use all-natural soy wax for my candles, which makes for an eco-friendly and clean burn, and excellent scent throw. I hand-pour every candle as it is ordered, so nothing is ever just sitting on a shelf, gathering dust, waiting for a home. And my favorite twist (no pun intended) is the signature wax swirl I put on top of every candle.

I don't have employees, assistants, marketing managers, bookkeepers, or website designers - this whole shebang is 100% all me. I admit, it's hard work being a one-woman show, often up to 20-hour working days. But I truly do love every second of it! And I couldn't have gotten this far without you - all the candle-lovers out there - who appreciate my candles as much as I do. And I hope we can continue to grow together for as long as possible.
