Depois de 25 anos como Higienista Dental, me encontrei desempregado, vítima de uma economia em dificuldades. Mas não demorou muito para ver que Deus estava me dando a oportunidade de me concentrar nas coisas que eu amo minha família (um marido maravilhoso e dois adolescentes), conversando com as pessoas e qualquer coisa VINTAGE!
Sem uma pista do que eu estava fazendo, eu me montei em uma das minhas lojas vintage favoritas e aprendi muito com algumas pessoas maravilhosas. Passei os últimos anos vendendo apenas em shows antigos e mercados de pulgas, pois as exigências de ser líder escoteira e mãe da Band tiveram prioridade.
Sou um auto-proclamado "viciado em leilões" e caçador de tesouros. Eu procuro vendas de pátios, leilões e porões de amigos por móveis velhos e outras joias, reformá-los e encontrá-los novas casas. Eu também fiz alguns trabalhos para amigos que não poderiam se separar com um móvel precioso ou herança de família.

After 25 years as a Dental Hygienist I found myself unemployed, a victim of a struggling economy. But it didn't take long to see that God was giving me an opportunity to refocus on the things that I love-my family (a wonderful husband and 2 teenage boys), talking with people and anything VINTAGE!
Without a clue as to what I was doing, I set up shop at one of my favorite vintage stores and learned a lot from some wonderful people. I've spent the last couple of years only selling at antique shows and flea markets as the demands of being a Boy Scout leader and Band mom took priority.
I am a self-proclaimed "auction junkie" and treasure hunter. I search yard sales, auctions and friends basements for tired, dirty old furniture and other gems, refurbish them and find them new homes. I also have done some work for friends who couldn't part with a treasured piece of furniture or family heirloom.
