There are a few things you should know before buying any bow.

• Try before you buy - really important, try bows of different draw weights, bow lengths and manufacturers. You will find that some limbs will feel harder to draw than others. This will help you narrow down your preferred draw weight and inform you as to your draw length.

• Visit local shop – There are a number of archery and general sports shops, big and small, all around the country and all quality ones will give you the opportunity to try first and spend time with you. If possible take an experienced person with you when trying equipment out.

• When in doubt, ask. We are happy to answer any of your questions.

Draw length and draw weight are the two most important things to know when ordering archery equipment.

Draw length corresponds to the arm length of the person drawing
the bow. Industry standard is 28".

Draw weight corresponds to how heavy the bow pulls.

* For Bow Orders - The bow should not be too heavy to draw back comfortably, or too light that it doesn't offer a challenge. Body height does not matter when it comes to ordering a bow.

* For Arrow Orders - Please know the correct draw length and draw weight needed to match the bow the arrows will be used with. If the arrows are for display or cosplay only, and will not be shot, draw weight does not matter.

Buffalo bows are a high draw weight bow with a short draw length based off of Plains style bows. They are meant for a crouched shooting style, indicative of hiding behind brush.

They are not youth bows. The short draw length does not indicate them for use by children and should not be purchased as a kid's bow. The reason for this is because children have the tendency to draw the bow back as far as they can, and these bows are not meant for that. Overdrawing will cause a bow to break.

We do not recommend them for people under the age of 18 and/or those without proper understanding of how to use a buffalo bow. Giving a buffalo bow to a child voids any and all warranties.

Any changes to orders must be made prior to the custom order being purchased. At that point we start prepping everything as agreed upon. No changes can be made after the listing has been purchased
