What She Said ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you shop with us on Etsy, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What data we collect -

When you place an order, Etsy collects and shares with us the information needed to fulfil it: your name, shipping address, email address, and order details (what you bought, when, and how much you paid). We don't collect payment card details directly; that's handled entirely by Etsy Payments, and we never see or store your card information.

If you message us through Etsy, we can see your message history with our shop as part of normal Etsy functionality.

Why we collect it -

We use your data solely to:
Process and fulfil your order
Communicate with you about your order (shipping updates, questions, issues)
Meet our own legal and tax obligations as a business

We do not use your data for marketing without your separate, explicit consent, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Who we share it with -

Fulfilling a made-to-order item means someone other than us has to physically print and ship it. We share the minimum data necessary, your name, shipping address, and order details, with Printify, our production partner, and the specific print provider in their network who produces your item. This is strictly for order fulfilment; they don't get access to your Etsy account or any data beyond what's needed to print and post your order.

Etsy itself, as the marketplace we sell through, has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data as a platform, which you can find at Etsy's own Privacy Policy page. Our policy here only covers what we, as the shop, do with your data on top of that.
We don't share your data with any other third party, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers on our own account beyond what Etsy itself operates as the platform.

How long we keep it -

We keep order data for as long as necessary to meet our legal obligations. This typically means UK tax and accounting record-keeping requirements (currently up to 6 years). After that, we delete it unless we're legally required to keep it longer.

Your rights -

If you're in the UK or EU, data protection law gives you the right to:
Ask what personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate data
Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal obligation to keep order records for tax purposes)
Object to how we use your data
