Ho iniziato a scolpire francobolli nel 2015 quando ho scoperto un gioco di caccia al tesoro chiamato Letterboxing. Ha combinato perfettamente il mio amore per l'escursionismo e la vita all'aria aperta con il mio amore per il lavoro con le mie mani e l'arte. In poco tempo, ho avuto l'idea di scolpire ricordi per i miei amici - immagini di loro che "indossano" i loro bambini in trasportini. Il divertimento consisteva nel trasformare un telefono cellulare a volte sgranato in un'immagine bella e chiara: il momento era importante per loro, ma l'immagine del cellulare era di bassa qualità. Adoro anche disegnare idee dalla mia testa, o scattare foto che i miei figli disegnano e vederle prendere vita mentre ritaglio strati di timbro per vedere il prodotto finale.

I started carving stamps in 2015 when I discovered a treasure hunt game called Letterboxing. It perfectly combined my love of hiking and the outdoors with my love of working with my hands and art. Before long, I had the idea to carve mementos for my friends--images of them “wearing” their babies in carriers. The fun lay in turning a sometimes a grainy cell phone shot into a beautiful, clear picture: the moment was important to them, but the cell phone image was low-quality. I also love drawing ideas from my own head, or taking pictures my kids draw and seeing them come to life as I carve away layers of stamp to see the final product.

I'm working on getting more in stock and semi-custom items, such as cards, bookplates with your name, and other cool ideas.
