It wasn’t what was shown in the picture- it was like it was painted on plus one of the sides I have to glue because it doesn’t fit properly.

It’s not ugly, it looks fine. My problem is it is NOT stained glass and the picture is AI generated. It feels like there’s a film on it similar to a sticker or epoxy. And it almost looks like a stippled painting effect was done to try and mimic the texture you get from real stained glass. I don’t think it looks bad but it looks nothing like the photo. And if you’re looking for real stained glass you’ll be disappointed. This is not worth the $75 I paid. Maybe if it was half this price and the advertising was not an ai generated photo of what you’re getting then this seller would have better reviews. This is like a temu version of stained glass. Not bad but not nearly as good as I expected.

I really like the look of this, but it is a little different than expected as described in another review. I still love the way the light hits it and the whimsy it adds to our bookshelf. However it doesn’t seem like actual stained glass. I also thought the wings would come attached to the wooden pieces not lightly placed in a groove. I might try to glue mine in. I was hoping they would be a little sturdier. I’m nervous my kids are going to bump them grabbing a book, the glass is going to fall out of the groove and break. So again, love the look, love the whimsy, but not as sturdy as I hoped.

Doesn’t look like the photo. The photo is misleading. Wings look painted or printed on. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

Not stained glass. It’s pretty, but I feel misled by the pictures and it is not worth the price paid.

another beautiful set of book ends. again, you will want to add some anti slide to the bottom as they are not very heavy, buck the packaging was incredible.
