Making 3D printing fun and functional
Hello and Welcome! My name is Katherine Young and I am the owner of YoungPrint3D. My whole life I have always loved art and design, from drawing and painting to digital design and beyond. I stated this shop in 2024 as a way to help support my family and my hobby, while also putting myself out there in a way that is totally new to me.
I fell in love with 3D printing in 2023 when my husband got a new printer and started making all kind of cool things in his free time, for our home and family. He taught me so much about it, and than I started doing it myself when he was at work, as a way to teach myself more. When we moved to Texas in January 2024 I took his 3D printing hobby and made it my own. I started printing small things here and there and than my husband said I should look into starting an Etsy shop because he saw how much joy it brought me. After tossing the idea around for a few months and doing my research I decided I would go for it.
I absolutely love this platform. It has brought so much confidence into my life and I could not be more grateful. I started by selling a few items I loved from a 3D designer that I got a commercial license for and have since ventured into designing products myself. While I still hold a few commercial licenses and will continue supporting and selling designs from those designers I am so excited every time I design and produce my own designs for my shop. This shop has been a life changer for me and I will forever be grateful for Etsy and my customers.
