Favorite items such as comfortable goods and clothes that are comfortable to wear. Favorite things tend to get damaged or dirty quickly because they are used often. Or, things that were bought but the design is not so good and are not used and are relegated to the corner of the dresser.

Japan's kimono culture has been cultivated by people since ancient times. Indigo-dyed kasuri fabric that has been mended many times and faded. Printed fabric with a Showa-era design that evokes nostalgia. Denim fabric with a cool distressed look. Old cloth made by unraveling clothes that can no longer be used as original products.

These are fashion items and materials that are destined to be discarded eventually.
Is there a way to recycle things that are too wasteful to throw away?

I patchwork old cloth called "BORO" that was about to be thrown away onto like-new recycled items and beloved items such as clothes, hats, and bags that have been used for many years. I want to redesign and remake them and breathe new life into them.

We promote environmentally friendly and sustainable practices within fashion culture.

使い心地が良いグッズや着心地が良い服などの愛用品。お気に入りのものはよく使用するので、すぐに傷んだり汚れたりしがちです。あるいは、買ったけどデザインがイマイチで使われずにタンスの隅に追いやられてる物たち。

昔から人々の手によって培われてきた日本の着物文化。何度も繕い色褪せた藍染めの絣（かすり）生地。ノスタルジーを感じさせる昭和デザインのプリント生地。ダメージングのほころび具合がカッコいいデニム生地。本来の製品としては使えなくなった服をほどいて出来た古布たち。

そんな、やがて廃棄される運命にあるファッションアイテムや素材。
捨ててしまうにはモッタイナイ物たちを再生できないだろうか。

新品同様のリサイクル品や長年愛用してきた愛用品である服や帽子・バッグなどのアイテムに、廃棄寸前の古布「襤褸（BORO）」を継ぎ接ぎパッチワーク。リデザイン・リメイクをして生まれ変わらせ、新たな命を吹き込みたい。
