The Neurodiversity
Autism: reconsider human nature

Autism is officially considered autistic neurodeveloppemental and sometimes even by some as an illness. Increasingly autism speak to explain autism lived inside. Their gentle and quiet voice carries a powerful message:

Autism is a neurological natural difference. Autistic people are whole and equal humans and autistic activists reject any healing or standards.

This book invites you to change autism mental vision and to reconsider it through the prism of the neurodiversity. The brain is comparable to an ecosystem: a network of complexity, immeasurable from which emerges a thriving diversity essential for mankind.

The uniqueness of autism brain creates several characteristics, sometimes disturbing and unsettling for a person not familiar with autism. Supported on recent scientific research, all decorated with a personal touch, Mélanie Ouimet seeks to solve these aspects of autism.

This book re-establishes all ideas and beliefs about autism. It shows that people with autism are complex, curious, intelligent and very sensitive despite appearances of the imprisonment.

About the author
