Fondato da Ismail e da un collettivo di abili artigiani marocchini Amazigh, il nostro viaggio è iniziato nell'incantevole villaggio di Anezal, incastonato vicino alle montagne dell'Anti-Atlante.
La nostra cooperativa, la "Carpet Art Cooperative", ha preso vita nel dicembre 2020, spinta da una passione condivisa per la conservazione del patrimonio e la condivisione della ricca arte del Marocco. Con un profondo impegno per la comprensione culturale, abbiamo deciso di realizzare tappeti fatti a mano e tradizionali utilizzando solo i migliori materiali naturali. Questo non è solo un business; è un omaggio all'antica arte della tessitura dei tappeti e alle storie che porta con sé.
Traendo ispirazione dal cuore delle tradizioni marocchine Amazigh, produciamo tappeti che riecheggiano secoli di storia. Tramandata di madre in figlia, la tessitura è più di un'arte: è un'eredità culturale. Gli intricati motivi, spesso ispirati ai simboli Tifinagh o alla bellezza quotidiana della vita, sono intrecciati con dedizione e orgoglio. Per noi la tessitura non è solo un sostentamento; è uno stile di vita che sostiene le famiglie e nutre i sogni.
La creazione di ogni tappeto è una sinfonia di pazienza e precisione, una testimonianza dell'artigianalità senza tempo che ci definisce. Il nostro viaggio si snoda attraverso tre passaggi essenziali:
Taglio e trattamento della lana:
Il viaggio inizia con lana di provenienza etica, meticolosamente trattata e filata, preservandone l'autenticità. Ogni fibra è curata, seguendo le tradizioni tramandate da generazioni, dando vita a una bobina pronta a raccontare la sua storia.
Tavolozza della natura:
I colori emergono naturalmente, tinti con piante e spezie, dando vita alla lana senza comprometterne la qualità. Le sfumature parlano della bellezza della natura e della saggezza Amazigh.
Tessitura e Design:
Il telaio diventa una tela, dove mani sapienti danno vita a disegni con migliaia di nodi. Ogni metro quadrato è un arazzo di dedizione, che consuma innumerevoli ore, nodi e fili. È un'arte che può richiedere fino a 12 giorni di meticolosa maestria da parte di due donne di talento.

Wool Cutting and Treatment:
The journey begins with ethically sourced wool, meticulously treated and spun, preserving its authenticity. Every fiber is cared for, following traditions passed through generations, resulting in a coil ready to tell its story.
Nature's Palette:
Colors emerge naturally, dyed with plants and spices, breathing life into the wool without compromising its quality. The shades speak of nature's beauty and Amazigh wisdom.
Weaving and Design:
The loom becomes a canvas, where skilled hands bring patterns to life with thousands of knots. Each square meter is a tapestry of dedication, consuming countless hours, knots, and threads. It's an art that can take up to 12 days of meticulous craftsmanship by two talented women.
