Nous sommes principalement dans la décoration intérieure et nous avons une petite unité à la périphérie de Delhi où nous fabriquons principalement des courtepointes faites à la main. Nous sommes également dans la fabrication de tapisseries murales Mandala, housses de couette, rideaux Mandala, sacs Mandala. Housses de coussin de sol Mandala et Roundies Mandala. Pour tous ces articles de mandala, nous avons un lien avec l’imprimerie où nous passons une commande pour le tissu imprimé uniquement. Tout ce travail d’impression se fait à la main principalement soit par sérigraphie à la main, soit par impression en bloc. - Dès que nous recevons le tissu imprimé de l’usine, nous faisons la couture dans notre unité.
Dans le cas des Quilts, je finalise le design et les tissus à utiliser. La plupart du temps, je vais moi-même au marché le long du gars d’approvisionnement pour acheter les tissus de la couche supérieure principale pour les courtepointes. Le Maître planifie ensuite la production en fonction du design qui lui est donné. Il calcule la consommation de tissu pour la doublure arrière, la consommation pour le polyfill et la consommation pour d’autres garnitures à utiliser comme les fils à coudre et les fils à broder. Le gars de l’approvisionnement obtient toute cette matière première. En attendant, s’il s’agit d’une courtepointe patchwork, le maître termine la découpe des patchs, une fois que toutes les coutures ont été faites, la courtepointe est donnée aux dames pour la broderie à la main, une fois la broderie terminée, la dernière étape consiste à attacher la tuyauterie sur la courtepointe. Une fois que la courtepointe est prête, elle va au contrôleur de qualité qui vérifie soigneusement la pièce, puis elle me vient pour approbation finale. Une fois que j’ai donné mon feu vert, puis il va au garçon responsable de l’emballage et enfin il est remis au gars de l’expédition pour envoyer le colis.
We are mainly into Home Decor and we have a small unit on the outskirts of Delhi where we mainly manufacture handmade quilts . We are also into manufacturing Mandala wall tapestries , Duvet covers , Mandala curtains , Mandala Bags .Mandala Floor Cushion covers and Mandala Roundies . For all these mandala items , we have a tie up with the printing mill where we place an order for the printed fabric only . All this printing work is done by hand mainly either by Handscreen printing or Block Printing . - As soon as we receive the printed fabric from the mill , we do the stitching in our unit .
In case of Quilts , I finalise the design and the fabrics to be used . Most of the time i go the market myself along the sourcing guy to buy the main upper layer fabrics for the quilts . The Master then plans the production based on the design he is given . He calculates the fabric consumption for the back lining , consumption for the polyfill and consumption for other trims to be used like stitching threads and embroidery threads . The sourcing guy gets all this raw material . In the meanwhile if it is a patchwork quilt , master completes the cutting of the patches , after all the stitching has been done , the quilt is given to the ladies for hand embroidery , after the embroidery is complete , the last step is attaching the piping on the quilt . Once the quilt is ready , it goes to the quality controller who checks the piece thoroughly and then it comes to me for final approval . Once i give a go ahead , then it goes to the boy responsible for packing and finally it is handed over to the shipping guy to send the parcel .
