We are two creators behind Creations Oropendola, Sonia Sauvette and Paul-Marcel Adam. Back after a one year of travel on the roads of Mexico and Central America, we decided to not go back to what we were doing before we leave. After one year leaving in our van, our priorities and needs have changed. This is how Creations Oropendola was born, upon the name of a bird living in Mexico and Central America.

After having covered thousands of kilometres and captured thousands of images, we want to use our discoveries to create. All our objects are made from details of these images of our travels, our encounters with places, cultures, histories.

We have installed our office and workshop in our apartment. All our creations are imagined and produced by our two brains and four hands, at home, in Montreal. We are still inspired by encounters here and away. So, we want to offer a constantly evolving store in ideas and creations.
