Creating love and friendship <3

Hey you! Welcome to Emery and Opal! We’re Amanda and Tiffany, sisters, best friends, and founders of E&O! We’ve been making jewelry since we were little kids, selling friendship bracelets to all the other kids on the block! We always knew that we wanted to work together when we grew up! Through school, jobs and raising a family we kept pushing towards the dream of running our small business and leaving our full-time jobs! We are so proud to be powered by a team of awesome women (many of whom have their own small businesses).


Emery, representing the May birthstone, symbolizes the month Emery and Opal was born. Opal, the October birthstone, holds a special place in the heart of the company, representing our late grandmother, Beatrice. Her spirit is the driving force behind our success. She was the hardest working woman we knew, showing us that women are strong, independent, and can accomplish anything.

We’re on a mission to provide you with dreamy everyday jewelry. We are passionate about our customers and making them feel confident through beautiful jewelry.


About our Jewelry
We create simple, dreamy, and celestial demi-fine jewelry. Inspired by all of nature, whether it be flowers blooming in the ground or the endless cosmic beauty of the night sky. We love combining both our styles and ideas to create the perfect piece of jewelry for you.

Our designs are sketched in-house and we work with ethical sources to bring those designs to life. We use synthetic and natural stones to ensure our pieces are affordable. We primarily use gold-filled materials and all our sterling silver comes from recycled silver. Each piece is handmade in our Montreal studio.

Giving Back

It is important to give back to the community so each month we donate to a different charity! We also donate jewelry to many women-based charities, like the princess project, which gives underprivileged girls the opportunity to go to prom with donated dresses and jewelry. When you purchase a piece of jewelry from us, you’re not only going to love your piece, and make our day (seriously, thank you!) but you’ll also be positively impacting someone’s life! Now that’s something to feel good about!

Gold/Silver Plated Info & Care Instructions

Gold- or Silver-plated pieces are composed of a layer of gold or silver bonded to brass. Because of this, it is normal for the plating to fade over time. How fast the plating fades depends on several different factors such as; your skin’s acidity, how often you wear the piece and the activities you do while wearing the piece.

To ensure your piece stays sparkly for a long time, make sure to remove all jewelry before showering, swimming or any other contact with water which will tarnish the jewelry. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens or any other chemicals. After wearing the piece, it is best to clean it with a dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place such as your gift box.

All our pieces come in jewelry boxes ready for gifting. Gift wrapping is also available at checkout!

Shipping

All US orders are shipped with USPS. Canadian orders will be shipped via UPS. Processing time is 2-4 business days.

14K Gold Filled / Sterling Silver Care Instructions

GOLD FILLED:
Gold Filled jewelry is made by bonding a layer of solid gold to another metal. It’s at least 1000x thicker than gold plating and is super durable and long lasting.

To ensure your piece stays sparkly for a long time, make sure to remove all jewelry before showering, swimming or any other contact with water which will tarnish the jewelry. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens or any other chemicals.

STERLING SILVER:
Sterling Silver requires polishing from time to time due to oxidation.

After wearing the piece, whether gold-filled or sterling silver, it is best to clean it with a dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place such as your gift box that is included in your order.

Exchanges/Re-Work if the size isn't right

We are happy to make adjust/re-work your jewelry if you are not 100% satisfied.

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your jewelry if you would like to exchange a length or size.

Please note there is a re-work fee for adjustments/exchanges. This fee covers labour and shipping.

Tarnish Policy

Tarnish within 14 days is not normal or reflective of the quality of products we offer, please contact us and we will replace the item. Anything after that will be subject to a small replacement fee. Tarnish over a few days is not normal however it can happen over a few months of consistent wear with plated items. How fast the plating fades depends on several different factors such as; your skin’s acidity, how often you wear the piece and the activities you do while wearing the piece. After wearing the piece, it is best to clean it with a dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place such as your gift box. Your happiness is our #1 priority. No matter the issue, please contact us as we are always here to help find solutions.

My jewelry broke, what do I do?

We can repair or replace broken items within SIX MONTHS of purchase. Please send us a photo of where your item broke.

Where's my order?

All orders are sent with a tracking number. You will receive this tracking number by email once your order has shipped. Use this to stay updated on where your order is, unfortunately we do not have more information that what is provided with the tracking number.

There are MAJOR delays due to COVID-19. Please contact us if you do not receive your order with 30 days (USA and CANADA) or 60 days (INTERNATIONAL).

I put in the wrong address and now the package is shipped!

We are not responsible for customers inputting the wrong address. If the item hasn't been shipped we will gladly change the address. Once shipped we are no longer responsible and cannot refund your order.
