Creo arte porque la arcilla me resulta familiar, un material que me habla mientras le doy forma. Crecí en Eslovaquia, rodeada de los ritmos sencillos de la vida cotidiana y la serena belleza de la naturaleza, y esas primeras experiencias siguen presentes en mi obra. Desde el momento en que modelé arcilla por primera vez, sentí una conexión con su fuerza orgánica y su infinita posibilidad.

Mi trabajo se centra en esculturas florales de arcilla únicas, cada una elaborada a mano, sin atajos. Me atraen las formas botánicas no solo por su belleza, sino también por su resistencia y sus sutiles imperfecciones: las peculiaridades y asimetrías que hacen que cada flor sea única. A través de la forma y la textura, mi arte celebra la conexión atemporal entre el mundo natural y la creatividad humana, recordándonos que la belleza no necesita ser perfecta para ser significativa.

Me fascina cómo un material tan sencillo como la arcilla, cuando se trabaja con cuidado e intención, puede evocar emociones, recuerdos y una sensación de presencia. Ya sea la curva de un pétalo, la forma de un tallo o el juego de luces y sombras, mis esculturas son invitaciones: a detenerse, a observar y a sentir la poesía que se esconde en las formas cotidianas.

I make art because clay feels like home — a material that speaks back as I shape it. Growing up in Slovakia, I was surrounded by the simple rhythms of everyday life and the quiet beauty of nature, and those early experiences are still woven through my work. From the moment I first molded clay, I felt a connection to its organic strength and infinite possibility.

My work centers on one-of-a-kind clay flower sculptures, each piece developed by hand, without shortcuts. I’m drawn to botanical forms not just for their beauty, but for their resilience and quiet imperfections — the subtle quirks and asymmetries that make each bloom unique. Through shape and texture, my art celebrates the timeless connection between the natural world and human creativity, reminding us that beauty doesn’t need to be flawless to be meaningful.

I’m fascinated by how a simple material like clay, when handled with care and intention, can evoke emotion, memory, and presence. Whether it’s the curve of a petal, the pinch of a stem, or the way light plays across surface and shadow, my sculptures are invitations: to pause, to notice, and to feel the poetry in everyday forms.
