Care instructions

Mallets are not a toy & should be kept out of reach of infants & pets. Wool heads are susceptible to fray if stored/handled improperly. Keep mallets in a case/bag or upright in a container to prevent them from rolling off a table & becoming destroyed. Keep mallets stored out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time to prevent color fade.

Why is there an opening on my mallet head?

Our tongue drum Premium Series mallets have a solid wood core with latex wrap which requires our craftsman to drill a hole through its entirety to prevent the core from splitting. The opening also allows the mallet head to be sewn deeper which provides a sturdier wrapped head. We offer a few pairs with a stone or rhinestone for those that prefer the opening be “closed”.
