Hola y bienvenidos a mi tienda, rocknshellstudio. Un poco sobre mí. Crecí pasando tiempo en las playas del sur de California. En su mayoría, las playas de Huntington, Newport y Laguna. Ahora vivo en Nevada y me encanta crear con conchas como una forma de mantenerme conectado con mi lado playero. Vuelvo al océano tan a menudo como puedo y siempre estoy asombrado e inspirado por la naturaleza.
Comencé mi tienda para compartir mis botellas de concha. Me apasionan mucho y me encanta el proceso de crearlos. Muchas de las botellas utilizadas son vintage y hacen que las piezas sean raras y únicas. Principalmente los colecciono en tiendas de antigüedades y coleccionables y la caza es parte de la diversión. Se indica en la descripción cuando la botella es vintage ya que no todas las botellas utilizadas son viejas.
A medida que recolectaba y compraba conchas para las botellas, surgieron más ideas del proceso creativo y se agregaron más artículos. Como tal, mi tienda continuará creciendo y cambiando con el tiempo y espero que vengas para el viaje!
Algunas de las conchas de mi trabajo las he recogido yo mismo pero por supuesto no todas. Soy consciente de ser consciente del medio ambiente y no uso ni compro conchas que estén en peligro o amenazadas. Tampoco uso coral, excepto para pequeñas piezas que se cosechan como ya muertas.

Hello and welcome to my shop, rocknshellstudio. A little about me. I grew up spending time on the beaches of southern California. Mostly, Huntington, Newport and Laguna beaches. Now I live in Nevada and I love to create with shells as a way to stay connected to my beachy side. I return to the ocean as often as I can and I'm always awed and inspired by nature.
I started my shop to share my shell bottles. I am very passionate about them and love the process of creating them. Many of the bottles used are vintage and make the pieces rare and one of a kind. I mostly collect them from antique and collectible shops and the hunt is part of the fun. It is stated in the description when the bottle is vintage as not all of the bottles used are old.
As I was collecting and buying shells for the bottles, more ideas sprang from the creative process and more items have been added. As such, my shop will continue to grow and change over time and I hope you will come along for the journey!
Some of the shells in my work I have collected myself but of course not all . I am conscious of being environmentally aware and I don't use or buy shells that are endangered or threatened. I also do not use coral except for small pieces that are harvested as already dead.
