La passion du verre m’accompagne depuis mon enfance. Je me souviens des visites des usines de verre soufflé à Malte, le pays de ma mère, et de la façon dont j’étais fasciné par le feu, le verre incandescent et sa transformation.
J’ai étudié les Beaux-Arts à l’Université de Barcelone. Une fois mon diplôme terminé, j’ai travaillé comme graphiste jusqu’à ce qu’en 2003, je fonde l’école d’art Amb Art à Vilanova y la Geltrú.
En 2009, je suis entré dans le monde du verre et j’ai commencé à concevoir et à créer des collections de bijoux en cristal.
Les différentes collections actuelles sont le résultat d’années de recherche, de la purification de la technique du verre peint à la main et estampé et de la combinaison de mes « autres métiers » peinture, illustration et conception d’impression. Chaque collection a une empreinte, une histoire qui la définit et la caractérise et donc ils évoluent aussi de la même manière que moi.
The passion for glass has been with me since I was a child. I remember the visits to the blown glass factories in Malta, my mother's country, and how I was fascinated by fire, incandescent glass and its transformation.
I studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Once I finished my degree, I worked as a graphic designer until in 2003 I founded the Amb Art art school in Vilanova y la Geltrú.
In 2009 I entered the world of glass and began to design and create collections of crystal jewelry.
The different current collections are the result of years of research, the purification of the technique of hand-painted and stamped glass and the combination of my "other trades" painting, illustration and print design. Each collection has a footprint, a story that defines and characterizes it and therefore they are also evolving in the same way that I am doing it.
