Oh Canada! - Mosaic Crochet Throw Blanket Pattern and Chart. Left-handed option included.
Digital file type(s): 5 PDF
This is a digital file, not a finished project.
Now includes a file for alternate rows 26-65 so you can have "2020" on your blanket!
You will receive a pattern with written line-by-line instructions and a chart. If you are left-handed, use the left-handed version which is a mirror-image so that your words will be legible.
I use single-row / cut-and-tie mosaic for my patterns. You work with one color at a time and cut it at the end of each row. The back will be alternating stripes while the front shows the design. The back gives a sort of illusion of the front (as you can see in the small leaf sample).
All my charts can also be used for interlocking crochet. See other listings for that pattern!

Pattern is in US crochet terminology
4.5 mm hook (US7)
Worsted weight yarn (4500 yards total)
o Main color (MC) – 2250 yards
o Accent color (AC) – 2250 yards
Finished throw = 61" x 61" (chart 237 x 237)
16 stitches x 16 rows = 4” square
You can choose whichever colors you like! Usually MC is darker than AC and the design will show up better if the colors are not too similar to each other. Black on the chart is MC in the pattern.
I use hook size 4.5 (US7) in my patterns but gauge is not extremely important.

I asked Ashlee to make up a pattern for me of a tiger's head the size of a blanket. She exceeded my expectations to say the least because when she sent me the finished pattern it was breathtaking. What an absolutely beautiful image. I know she worked hard on this pattern for me because her attention for detail doesn't lie. Then I had to crochet it. Well I am new to interlocking style crochet but with this pattern it was made very easy for me. The pattern is all written out row by row in interlocking and mosaic crochet. And of course there is a chart but I never used it. I am very pleased with the results of this tiger blanket from this pattern so pleased that I have to make a white tiger for me!
Really easy to follow pattern. love the results for my first time trying this technique. Cant wait to try more.
This going to be a beautiful blanket! Looks complicated but is not hard to do. Beautiful results.
Haven't worked it up yet, reading the pattern seems easy. Thank you
