Bonnet Girl Blanket - Locked Filet Mesh (Interlocking) or Overlay Mosaic Crochet - Throw Blanket Pattern
Digital file type(s): 2 PDF
This is a digital file, not a finished project.
My grandma had a blanket full of girls in dresses. I didn't care much for their hats but I always liked their dresses. I learned later that was a classic quilting block, and she was named after her hat / bonnet!
**You will receive one file containing:**
- the interlocking pattern,
- a one-page chart,
- the mosaic pattern (including instructions for an envelope border).
**Now includes a bonus chart with the X's marked for mosaic crochet!**
The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.
Mosaic crochet is single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).
I have YouTube tutorials available for both crochet methods! Follow this link to get to my YouTube channel and find my other social links: https://linktr.ee/LFMandMosaic

What a great pattern! Especially since everyone on my husband's side has to do with trucks.
My favorite quilt pattern for crochet! What's not to love!. Can't wait to begin.
I'm in love with this pattern and mosaic crochet. Just started and I know it's going to take awhile but this one is for me! Post pics when done
Haven't finished it yet, but it's a very fun and easy pattern! It's easy to understand for those that are new to mosaic/interlocking crochet.
