A custom-made simple bezel necklace featuring a lab created emerald (Lab created means the stone features the identical chemical & crystal structure as a natural emerald, this is not an imitation cubic or glass)

Cleaning Vintage Jewellery:
• Most vintage jewellery should be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and light detergent mixture.
• Silver jewellery can be cleaned using a small amount of tarnish removing liquid or polish with a soft tooth brush or a soft cloth.
• Jewellery should NOT be cleaned if the following is present: damage, irregularity in the setting, loose stones, and the mount contains foil –back gemstones or enamel.
• Jewellery containing softer materials such as coral and pearls would be hand cleaned with extra care. Never clean with chemicals as discoloration and damage can occur.
• Follow this rule: “First thing on - Last thing off.”
• Always allow Pearl strands or any strung beads on silk to completely dry before wearing.

• Keep items separated by boxes, liners or bags to prevent the items wearing or scratching each other.
• Major increases or decreases in temperature can cause any glue or cement to become brittle, leading to stone loss. Ensure items are kept in a clean and dry place for storage.

All our jewellery, vintage or custom-made, is cleaned to the best of our ability or to the extend the piece will allow. Note, some vintage pieces will lose value when polished, removing the patina.
