SMALL BLACK BEAR SCULPTURE.
*Note: I have two copies of this sculpture in my studio inventory and available for immediate shipping.
This sculpture is a 2 year old Black Bear. He still has his cub proportions and is a little gangly.
We live in the country and see Black Bears quite often. This last couple of years, we have seen young bears, just newly away from their mama bears. A two year-old and a three year-old who were not yet full grown.
The Little Bear has an edition of 20. It fits in scale with my other smaller bear sculptures.
All sculptures come with a Certificate of Authenticity in a beautiful folio.
**If you are purchasing as a gift and the sculpture cannot be ready in time, a custom gift package which includes a folio and certificate as well as an image of your ordered sculpture will be sent to you to be given in advance of the sculpture's arrival.

I love it! Really cute baby bear, the size is perfect for the palm of my hand, so it doesn't sit on the shelf as planned, but stays with me during boring home office meetings ;) The communication with the artist was also the best I have had, I was notified every step of the way what is happening and when, and the final shipping to Germany happened at warp speed!

this is a wonderful piece and I treasure it very very much, fifty years ago in the Central Park zoo there was a bear kept in a small bare cage, it was so sad until once each day a man came and fed it food from an old milk carton, piece by piece. it stood up on its hind legs and danced for each mouthful! around and around, swaying and dancing. thank you very much for such a lovely piece - Louise Thompson
