"Arrival". This giclee (pronounced "gee-clay") on canvas is made in my local town of Courtenay, B.C. This canvas wrap is stretched on a solid frame 1.5" wide, wired on the back and sealed with a protective coat of satin varnish. It is made to last forever. My canvas giclees are signed editions of 200.
This image was shaped by my experience on a raft trip in the Yukon – particularly the animal prints and the light aspen-like trees in foreground. It combines a couple different perspectives: from the boat and from far away, making it feel like a bit of a dream. I chose the title “Arrival” to comment on how the experience of wilderness can lead us back to ourselves.
A giclee print is a high resolution and perfectly colour matched ink jet reproduction of an original painting. Giclees are made with museum quality materials

I have purchased a more than just this card from Traci. The artwork is excellent on the screen, but simply outstanding in your hand. The quality of the card, artwork and all round experience is superb. I actually purchased 5+ over the space of a few weeks, the seller put $5 cash in the envelope for the discount order of the sale. The seller did not have to do that, and was just another example of such a classy experience. Save the trip to Hallmark, give your money to a real person making a go of a small business and keep the money in the local economy. BUY HERE!!!! You won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal art, service and experience. The picture doesn't do the art justice. Looks great online, even better in your hand. shipped in a hard envelope and arrived quickly from purchase. Fairly new to Etsy, 20 some purchases. This purchase was as great an experience as them all. seller and product = 1st class!!! Also, keep supporting small business sellers over Hallmark. These cards cost less, are made in Canada by Canadians, support small business and keeps money in OUR economy. Will purchase again in future. 👍
