I absolutely loved making this sweater. The HBDC stitch is my new fave stitch. I used the recommended yarn, Biggo Yarn, and ordered the Brava Bulky as well. There is quite a difference in price but the Biggo Yarn was worth it. It’s like crocheting with clouds. And IMHO makes a much more lux sweater. The pattern itself is spot on. I used the mattress stitch for seaming instead of the whip stitch, but that’s just a personal preference. I did use 3/4 of one extra ball of yarn than the pattern called for, but only because I wanted the sweater to be a little longer than cropped length. The one piece design has spoilt me for other sweater patterns. I used 35mm buttons that I bought from Etsy shop AvocadoStitches. I highly recommend!
This pattern was so easy to follow!
This pattern was very easy to follow! I made the whole blanket in just under 3 weeks. I’m tempted to start another one for myself!
