This is natural black spinel with adjustable size and multiple wear options. Wear it as a sparkling wrap bracelet, necklace, or as a unique chain adding your own pendant.
The deep black and high polish facets of this stone deliver a sparkle similar to black diamonds. They are micro facet cut in perfect 2mm unison. The clasp and 2" (5cm) adjustment chain are solid sterling silver. Listed sizes are measured at full length.

The stones are strung on high quality, nylon coated, braided stainless steel cable and is strong enough to accommodate most any pendant.

Spinel:
Black spinel is relatively unheard of to the common consumer and has not yet been marketed by any major gem companies yet. Black Spinel is only found in a few locations in the world, and because of its rarity, if the demand were to rise, supply would not be abundant enough to keep up with it.
It is mostly found growing with ruby and sapphire. Although they are not related, Black spinel accepts a high luster polish you'd expect of a sapphire or ruby.

Folklore
Spinels are associated with love and help the wearer to put their ego aside and become devoted to another person. Spinel also encourages passion and is said to increase the duration of one's life.
