AMBIGUITY is a Game of Dubious Deductions

Words without context have multiple meanings. Use your deduction and elimination skills to put the right words in their proper place to solve each game.
• Is CROW a tribe or a bird?
• Is DRIVER a job or a golf term?
• Is OKLAHOMA a state or a movie?
• Is BEETLE a tool or an insect?
• Is CHINOOK a fish or a wind?

Ambiguity is an unlimited brainteaser of a word game for one player, aged 12+, with an option for multiple players via hybrid web app.

• 24 category cards with 120 clues

Goal: You will be presented with a set of cards and clues. The cards have four words each. Each word belongs to at least two categories. The tricky part is that you may only use one word from each card.

Your job is to figure out the context. Solve a challenge by arranging the words on the selected cards in a unique way to match the clues.

For example, figure out whether MUSTANG refers to a CAR or a HORSE. Is the context of BARREL a CONTAINER or a MEASUREMENT?

Setup: Select an initial challenge or print a new one from www.AMBIGUITY.fun. Grab the indicated cards. Tip: group the cards 1…54 for quicker grabs between games.

Game Play:
Examine the words on the cards. For each clue, pick a word. In your mind, connect the words with the clues. Rotate the cards such that the selected word is at the top of the card. After laying out all your cards, if all the words match their respective clues, you’re done. Otherwise, reexamine and realign the words before consulting the solution.
