A lesser-known flower and considered invasive, the sulfur cinquefoil (potentilla recta) is nonetheless a beautiful flower with soft, creamy yellow petals and small jagged leaves. This is a perfect project to discover a new favourite flower!

This embroidery is mainly stitched with the needle-painting technique of the long & short stitch, and the instructions have been written with beginners in mind. I do recommend having previous knowledge of basic hand embroidery, but if you're looking to give needle-painting a try then this pattern will be perfect for you!

Please note that the pattern was hand-drawn by me and may have a few imperfections. It measures approx. 1.6" x 3.3", perfect for a 5" hoop, but you can resize it to any size you'd like.
