♡ ABOUT THE DECK ♡
Each card of the Moon Sprites Oracle took about 10-20 hours to paint. They have a symbolic meaning and an associated element. I chose to paint mainly well-known creatures or objects so that it would be very intuitive. I also go more in-depth with the symbolism of each card in the booklet and the meaning will change depending on whether it is drawn upright or reversed. There is also a modifier card that can change the meaning of another one: The mirror card.
The back of the cards represents my version of the tree of life and has multiple hidden features. Being a symbol of personal growth, strength and beauty, it was perfect for my oracle which is meant to not only be used for divination but also shadow work.

♡ ORACLE VS TAROT ♡
The Moon Sprites Oracle is not a traditional tarot deck. Tarot has a very specific structure (78 cards, major and minor arcana, predetermined significations) whereas oracle decks can have any number of cards and custom meanings. Simply put, tarot is a type of oracle but oracle cards are not all tarot. Neither is better, it's all about personal preference. I myself have both types of cards and use them for different situations. The bottom line is you can never have too many decks!
