As all of my pieces are hand finished, they require good care to keep them looking great. I use many soft and porous stones throughout my collections (ie turquoise, lapis lazuli, ammolite) and as such I do not recommend the usage of liquid jewellery cleaning dips, as the stones may become damaged or discolored by these liquids. It is also recommended for the longevity of certain stones to avoid excessive contact with water, oils, lotions, makeup, chemicals, abrasives, and prolonged exposure to sunlight or extremely dry weather conditions. I also recommend separating jewellery pieces with softer stones away from jewellery that includes harder stones such as diamonds, sapphires etc.

Please also note that the patinas on all of my pieces are likely to change when they come in contact with your environment, lifestyle, and body chemistry. I recommend using an impregnated polishing cloth for cleaning and polishing your silver pieces. Contrary to popular belief, sterling silver DOES naturally tarnish, dues to its copper content interacting with oxygen. I also recommend keeping sterling silver jewellery in a small ziploc bag to prevent the piece from tarnishing as quickly.
