Three paintings left from a series of paintings of a little cartoon cat going on his adventure! These were inspired by a recent road trip through BC and Alberta, Canada.
"Golden" is a stop in Golden, BC where we crossed their alleged highest pedestrian suspension bridges! 426 feet high, and reasonably wobbly.
"Canola" stands in a field of bright yellow canola flowers, which added some much needed cheer to the isolating flat prairies.
"Through the Hoodoos" features the (somewhat underwhelming) hoodoos in Drumheller, BC, a very cool place if you want to see something quite different! The hard stone protects the soft earth underneath from rain, so as the unprotected clay or sandstone washes away around it, it leaves behind these neat, tall spires, looking a little like fantastic oversized mushrooms.
Ready to hang!
