Difficulty level is easy to intermediate. These little slippers knit up quick with garter stitch on two needles and require picking up stitches and sewing a seam. Links to tutorial videos on sewing the seam, washing and shaping the wool are now included.

Instruction for Sizes:
0-3 months - 3" (7.5 cm)
3-6 months - 3.5" (9 cm)
6-12 months - 4.0" (10 cm)
12-18 months - 4.5" (11.5 cm)

Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Wool (do not use superwash wool)
50g in Main Colour and Small Amount of a Contrast Colour
Pair of US 6 (4.0 mm) needles

These are the cutest slippers and easy to knit. My newly born granddaughter wore them her first day of life. I knitted them in 8 ply on size 4mm needles and the second size fit a newby perfectly.I felt chunky wool (8 ply) too thick for teeny feet but they translated fine.

Easy pattern thank you, for that I would have given 5 stars. I gave 4 stars because personally I need more practice at sewing the seams. I didn't like the lack of neatness of mine. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, for that reason I didn't make the 2nd bootie. Not the pattern makers fault though. If you are good at seaming than it's a great pattern for you.
