Made with 1/2" cabinet grade MDF.

MDF is a GREEN material. It is made from recycled materials. So there’s no need for new trees to be felled for the production of MDF. It also reduces waste. It has no rigorous production processes, which means that it’s not putting any strain on our renewable and non-renewable resources. It’s also helping us reduce our carbon footprints.

Our decor differs from most other similar items on Etsy in the fact that we actually spray 2 to 3 coats of a professional quality Pre-Catalyzed Satin Lacquer on all of our Decor, sanding between each coat, for a silky smooth finish.

First, we cut out the separate components. Then the sign back is hand painted then sanded just the right amount. We then apply a stain and hand rub to get a rustic vintage look. We then apply the wording and flourishes. When all is dry, we spray it with several coats of satin pre-cat lacquer for a warm finished look.
