I'm sorry, items made from my patterns, or the patterns themselves, cannot be sold or auctioned. I work hard to differentiate myself in a competitive market and encourage you to create your own unique designs to sell. All of my patterns are copyrighted and are intended for personal home use only. Finished pieces are OK to gift, but never ok to sell. Thanks for your support and honesty and for supporting what I do for the creative community.

I am a complete beginner, do you think that I will be able to read your patterns and complete a project? Do the patterns include a list of supplies?

Yes, I have seen many beginners complete them successfully. They work best alongside my YouTube videos at youtube.com/reformfibers Each pattern will include a list of supplies needed to complete the project as shown as well as where I purchased what I used. Please note that I live in Southern California, USA, so you may have to find other resources based on where you are located.

How do I measure out rope for my project? I don’t know how much rope I need, but I want to make a really big piece for my window/wedding/home/friend.

I always advise to work with patterns to familiarize yourself, see what you like about them. How much rope did you need, did you like the size of the rope, could they have been longer, shorter etc. There is no one "fool proof" answer, not one calculation that works every time. The variables that go into deciding on rope length are the size of the rope you're using, the Knot combination you're using and your tension. Every knot takes up a different amount of rope, every size (diameter) of rope will change your outcome and everyone's tension is different. Another option, if working on a piece that will take 48 pieces of rope, cut 8 of them, work your idea of knots & see what overall length that will give you, then dive in and cut the rest.

Your patterns mostly note rope size in inches, can you please help me convert to mm?

Yes, totally. 1/8th inch is 3.175 mm, 3/16th inch is 4.7625 mm, 1/4th inch is 6.35 mm, 3/8th inch is 9.53 mm.

I just purchased a digital download and I haven't yet received a link to download, can you please help me with that?

Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation might take a few minutes. If your payment is still processing, the "Download Files" button will be grey. Etsy will also send a download notification email separate from any transaction notification emails you receive from Etsy and/or PayPal. If you can't seem to find it, first, check your spam or junk inbox. If you use Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs. If it’s not there, add transaction@etsy.com to your address book or safe list. If you have an old email address linked to your Etsy account, you can still access the link by logging into your Etsy account & checking out "purchases and reviews" for a link.

Am I able to download files on my Phone/Ipad/Tablet?

Yes. Sign in to Etsy through a Mobile browser. Please note that you can't download a digital purchase through the Etsy app at this time. To download a digital file, please sign in to Etsy on your mobile browser or a non-mobile computer.

How do I access a PDF Pattern that I purchased / I realized that I have an old email address on my Etsy account and need to access a PDF Pattern that I purchased.

You can find links to download all past digital orders in your Etsy account. You will have to sign in to Etsy on a MOBILE BROWSER or a non-mobile computer - The Etsy app will not allow you to download the files. Steps - 1. Log in to your Etsy account 2. Click on “You” (top right) 3. Choose “Purchases and reviews” 4. Find the order. Click on “Download Files” (to the right of the order) Note - The file will go to your “Downloads” folders Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation might take a few minutes. If your payment is still processing, the "Download Files" button will be grey. If an hour or two has passed without success, please message me.

A beginner can make this following the pattern and YouTube knot instructions. I did have a lot of cord waste when I trimmed at the end of the pattern. The amount of cord suggested is very generous-this could be adjusted. Beautiful design!
