I have provided the supplies list below - I know I would like to know what will be needed before purchasing a pattern.
Supplies:
11.5 feet thin or thick woven Shaker chair tape or webbing
44 feet 1/2 inch FF natural reed
50 feet 1/2 inch FF dyed reed
6 feet 1/4 inch FO or FF natural reed
5 feet 3/4 inch FF natural reed
2.5 feet round rim filler reed

Fun pattern to weave! Just follow the pattern grid to weave!
Easy to read pattern, excited to make it
I liked the result but there were a few things that I wish had been included in the pattern: 1) The dimensions of the base would be helpful. I had to guess. 2) Number of rows to weave? I can count from the pics, but using the indicated size reed, I ran out of room. Seems like a different reed was used in the picture? 3)Length of strapping for the “around” ended up being too short. It probably should have the cutting instructions for that later in the pattern once we can measure the length needed based on the shaping. Overall, it’s a great pattern and I love the pictures included. I’ll probably incorporate some way to adjust the shoulder straps in the next one so it can fit on a younger person too. Thanks for the pattern!!
It’s on my to do list to start this summer!
