This baby dragon will be hand-cast in resin from an original sculpt. Each piece is carefully hand-painted with great attention to detail and given several coats of varnish to protect the paint.

This dragon comes in your choice of colour. The dragon will be black with 1 accent colour, chosen from red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, teal, blue, magenta, or purple. Please select your desired colour from the dropdown menu.

This dragon comes in the form of a barrette. When worn it appears as though the dragon has landed on your hair to rest.
The barrettes on the back are available in two sizes, 2" long, and 3" long. 3" is recommended for thicker hair.

***The photos are for reference only, the exact piece you receive will be different, because they are all hand-made. There may be small imperfections, but they add the the unique character of the piece.

***Shipping includes tracking and insurance.

*This hair clip is a decorative accessory, and will hold a moderate amount of hair. It's primary function is wearable art, and not controlling large quantities of hair.

I include a detailed list of care tips with every item. Because I use different materials care tips vary a little bit. Some general guidelines to follow include:

Avoid getting your jewelry wet, or submerging in any liquid.

Avoid knocking or banging your jewelry, do not pull or tug on it excessively.

Keep pieces away from oil-based products such as hair spray, perfume, deodorant and sunscreen as they may damage the finish and/or paint.

Avoid wearing your jewelry 24/7 as this will accelerate wear and tear dramatically.

Keep away from high temperatures (don't leave in a hot vehicle or on a heating vent).

If required, clean only with a damp cloth, and if necessary, mild dish soap.

Keep in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Water resistance varies depending on the type of piece:

Unpainted Resin (faux amber, dragon egg silhouette necklaces, etc) are very water resistant, although may become discoloured if submerged in a liquid or exposed to chemicals such as chlorine in a swimming pool.

Pewter Jewelry is very water resistant, but submersion in liquids should be avoided as this may cause discolouration of the metal.

Painted Resin (Dragon Drapers, or any other painted pieces) should not be exposed to water or excessive moisture. They should be wiped clean only with a damp cloth if so required, and never submerged in any liquid. These pieces have been varnished, and as such are water resistant to the occasional splash, but more than that should be avoided.

Most pieces are made out of a type of resin which is quite durable. However, it is still important to remember that these pieces are hand-crafted, not mass produced. If they are dropped or banged around there is a chance small pieces could break, or the paint (if applicable) could chip. Consider your piece "wearable art", rather than typical jewelry, and treat it accordingly.

I am extremely happy with the dragon jewelry I received today! It looks so much better than in the pictures. I have been wearing my dragon hair clip since I received it. It stays where I put it and I forget I'm wearing it. It's perfect. It was very well wrapped and it came with care instructions to keep it looking like new.
