Fabric notes: Mr. socks is little and light, quilting weight cottons work best. You will need a piece that is 6 X 12 for the body, upper legs, arms and tail and a 12” X 2” contrasting strip for the “socks”. Scraps of light wools, velvets, and felt are nice to have for details.

This smoll cat is just BEAUTIFUL! The pattern is fun to make, with well done instruction and many pictures included u could easily use as guide only. Im working on the second one right now, i finished this grey one in just a few hours. Really recommend this pattern!!
This was such a cute little doll. I had a fun time making mine and designing her little outfits!
Struggled to start with because I’m not used to downloading patterns but the pattern is great. Love the little cat. All working out fine. I liked the patterns so much that I’ve just bought the forest folks one too - little squirrel & rabbit & am looking forward to making all 3 for my granddaughter for Christmas.
UPDATE: I've made Mr Socks now; he's pretty small, but cute. I wouldn't recommend a thick fabric because of his size unless you scale up the pattern. Make sure you trim your seams, especially where the two fabric pieces join as this will help a lot when turning the legs/arms right-side out. He's definitely worth the effort; I love him :D Another great pattern from Ann Wood; love the style of her work. Can't wait to make Mr Socks; have been gathering suitable fabric pieces 😊
