I love this pattern! I will admit that the directions aren't really there, but I was able to piece together how to make the dress. I also ended up enlarging the pattern since I am a 38" Bust and 32" Waist. Overall amazing and I love the dress!!

Absolutely loved this pattern! I'm already planning my next one, side note though: the bodice does make up smaller than I thought (a common problem with vintage patterns according to a seamstress friend), simply adding to the sides did the job and now I can't wait to wear it!

This was a lovely pattern and the finished dress is beautiful. It was trickier than modern patterns which have lots of instructions and diagrams (along with the occasional helpful YouTube sewalongs). I made a lot of alterations to the pattern but I’m really happy with the fit. I couldn’t get the pleats on the sleeves to fit well so gathered them instead. My fabric wasn’t wide enough to cut the skirt in one piece so I cut the pattern into three pieces - half for the front and two pieces for the back. That worked out ok. Definitely not for beginner sewists as you need some knowledge of dressmaking and pattern alterations to achieve a good result.

Love this pattern! I don’t know if I was doing something wrong, but the sleeves just weren’t working. So I put in different sleeves. Otherwise, it’s lovely!
