Description

Old world elegance and class combine with contemporary sophistication in this absolutely exquisite labradorite necklace.

The entire pendant is about 3" from top to bottom and is made from swirling tendrils of lacy sterling silver wire with granules of 10K gold. The buttery gold detail perfectly compliments the labradorite's lovely gold flash.

The scalloped bezel embraces a 1 3/4" labradorite as the focal element - a stone which shows a remarkable range of colour in its flash. Move this stone around in the light and you will see blue, green, aqua, gold and copper reveal themselves. The back of the bezel has an intricate scrollwork cutout detail. I like to think of the extra detail on the back as a secret gift to the wearer.

The smaller, pear-shaped stone which dangles from the bottom of the focal piece was chosen for its complimentary gold flash and is set in the same scalloped bezel with filigree surrounding the stone and three elegant gold granules fused to the bottom to bring all the colours together.

The chain is handmade with meticulous attention to detail in every hammered link. The filigree clasp echoes the opulent design of the pendant and can be inserted into any link of the chain, making the length adjustable and enabling this necklace to be worn with a variety of necklines.

This is a truly stunning necklace which is destined to become an heirloom. Its opulence is not for the faint of heart - you will feel truly grand and classy when you put it on your neck.
