Description

Demonhunter is a tie dyed multicolored yarn that will blend between greens, purples and blacks.

Base Yarn: Let's Get Worsted
Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino
Yarn Weight: Worsted
Skein Length: Approximately 205 yards. (113g)

Care: Although technically superwash yarn can be machine washed, I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild detergent. Dry flat.

All of my yarns are hand dyed in a pet friendly home and every batch is one-of-a-kind. Please make sure you purchase enough skeins to finish your project, as future listings of the same colorway will inevitably look a bit different. As with any hand dyed yarn, please expect minor imperfections and some variation from skein to skein (even within the same batch), as each skein is individually dyed.

I do my best to wash all excess dye out of my yarns, but it's always possible for any yarn (hand dyed or mass produced) to unexpectedly bleed color later when washed, or "crock" (react with the user's skin causing staining during use). If you are planning to mix this yarn with other colors in a project, I strongly recommend doing a test swatch first. If you experience major color bleeding or other problems with any of my yarns, please let me know!

Need a larger number of skeins or a different yarn base for your project? Send me a message! I'm always happy to do custom orders!

Photographs are representations of colour (not exact skeins that will be shipped) and although we take great care to replicate our colorways accurately, some variation may occur.

FAQs

I love taking custom orders, just drop me a message and we can work something out!
With any form of hand dyeing, there is no guarantee that every skein will be the same, even within the same dye lot. If you are working with more than 1 skein of yarn, it is best to alternate between them every few rows of work to make sure the colors blend. This will also combat pooling that may happen with variegated yarns.
I try my best to make sure that each and every skein of my yarn runs clear in the rinsing process. However, sometimes some bleeding can occur when you wash your yarn or your finished object. Usually this is just some extra dye coming out into the water and it will not cause your project to fade. This happens more with reds and blues than with other colors.
If it is running for you a little bit, rinse it with cool water and some wool wash or dish soap. After a few rinses, it should be clear.
If it keeps bleeding and bleeding and doesn't want to stop, please contact me as it indicates something may have gone wrong in my dyeing process.
Although industry standard states that 2 or less knotted joins in a skein of yarn is considered acceptable, I do not agree. Nothing is more frustrating than finding a knot. I do my absolute best to make sure there are no knots in my yarn. However, sometimes they do slip by me, and I apologize if you find one.
I will accept returns or exchanges if you find more than 2 knotted joins in your skein, please contact me if this happens!
I dye my yarn in my professional dye studio here in British Columbia.
I am open to wholesale opportunities. Please contact me with specific details and we can see if we can work something out.
