It's a gift giving time of year, this make a great gift ! I have posters of many of these for sale too. Contact me.
My name is Ania. I am a mother of four wonderful kids. I am a Baha'i. I weave in spiritual teachings into my daily activities with my children. I noticed that all children are naturally drawn in a powerful way to the animal world. I created this book and six posters (which you can inquire about). The posters came first and were used for personal use to hang in my home, and then for sale. And the book germinated from there. My children all helped in its creation.
At bedtime, or during morning devotions, I thought this would make a wonderful prayer book for parents and children to enjoy together.
With your help these beautiful images and inspiring Writings can find their way to the homes and hearts of the world!
Animals are very special to me and this prayer book will help attract children's hearts to be kind to the animal world. In the Baha'i Writings we are encouraged to show the utmost kindness to animals. With the animals in this book as inspiration, we can educate our children to develop the capacities of compassion and kindness to all life.
Inspirational Quotes
"He should show kindness to animals, how much more unto his fellow man" - Baha'u'llah
"Therefore one must be very considerate towards animals and show greater kindness to them than to man. Educate the children in their infancy in such a way that they may become exceedingly kind and merciful to the animals. If an animal is sick they should endeavor to cure it; if it is hungry, they should feed it; if it is thirsty, they should satisfy its thirst; if it is tired, they should give it rest." - Abdu'l-Baha
"To the blessed animals, however, the utmost kindness should be exercised: the more the better it will be." - Abdu'l-Baha
"Unless ye must,
Bruise not the serpent in the dust,
How much less wound a man,
And if ye can,
No ant should ye alarm,
Much less a brother harm." - Abdu'l-Baha
