It's always a good idea however to remove any jewelry before swimming and exercising, and to avoid contact with chemicals and perfumes as much as possible. The vertebra is cast from a replica of a human spinal vertebra, the third cervical vertebra in the neck to be precise. Every intricate detail of the original bone is replicated in the bronze, and its organic shape is exactly how it's found in nature. You've got a bone exactly like this in you neck - if it's anything like mine if could do with a rub right about now.

The garnet that we've hung below it is AAA grade, micro-faceted and wrapped in gold-filled Sterling silver wire. A perfect gift for the gothic osteopath that's got everything.

The vertebra is cast in bronze, hand finished and protected against tarnishing, and the necklace comes on your choice and length of chain.
