Meet Ulyses. She is a bubbly Unicorn pillow, who loves to be squeezed and snuggled. She imagines herself lovingly placed in a sweet nursery, playroom, kid’s room, or just about any room that has a playful pastel vibe.

About this pattern.

I rate this pattern as intermediate. And while it uses basic crochet stitches, it does require a lot of patience and a bit of skill when it comes to sewing the pieces together. However if at any point you are stuck in the pattern, Please send me a message, and I will get back to you ASAP with the help you need.

This pillow measures approx. 13 inches in diameter. I have written this pattern with all the corresponding pictures on the last page, and have numbered them for easy reference. This will allow for more experienced crocheters to quickly work through the pattern, and for beginner crocheters to have the printed pictures ready to reference if need be.

And lastly the colors I use are just a suggestion, to give you an idea. Of course you may choose whatever color combo you like.

Some Things You’ll Need:

4.5mm hook size.

200 grams of white yarn. I used 2 balls of white red heart Soft Essentials. It’s a medium weight acrylic yarn.

A bit of black medium weight yarn.

50 g, of color wheel bright mint.

50 g, color wheel light pink.

50 g color wheel purple pink yarn.

A bit of yellow yarn (I used bernat handicrafter Pale yellow) for the horn and if you can find it, some white sparkly yarn for the threading around the horn. If not, just white will do the trick.

Some polyfill for stuffing the pillow. And a tapestry needle for sewing all the pieces together as well as a good pair of scissors for snipping ends.

Stitches used: You will need to be familiar with the magic circle.

Slip stitch = sl st
Single Crochet = sc
Half Double Crochet = hdc
Double Crochet = dc
Chain = ch
Finish Off = FO
* = will mean a repeat in the pattern
