***NOTE*** This mini-skein has one join, and the price is marked down to reflect that.

This handspun mini is hand dyed in shades of orange, aqua, purple, navy, green and pink. It's been spun slightly thick and thin throughout, so will work up with a bit more texture than our usual spun yarns. This is a great way to sample handspun without buying a full skein, and there is enough yardage here for a small project such as doll clothes, as trim on a garment, or used as part of a larger project on your loom or your needles.

The Corriedale is the oldest of all the crossbred breeds, a Merino-Lincoln cross developed almost simultaneously in Australia and New Zealand and brought to the United States in 1914. Micron ranges from 25 to 30 in adult sheep to the low 20's in lambs and hoggets. This Corriedale is in the higher micron range, and is a bit more crisp-feeling than most of the other yarns in our shop.

This listing is for one mini-skein of Bulky weight yarn as shown.

82 yds
1.7 oz
7-8 wpi

This yarn was spun on my Lendrum ST wheel in a smoke free, pet friendly environment.

This yarn will felt. If that is not your intention, please be sure to handwash gently in cool water and lay flat to dry.

If you would like it in a center pull ball, please let me know during checkout.
