This is a pretty good pattern I will say having a 40in cord is absolutely too long. I switched to a 29in and it was much easier.

This pattern was exactly what I was looking for in a book sleeve. As I am a beginning knitter, I do not have the needle size specified in this pattern, but I am very excited to begin! Edit: It was unclear at initial read that the designer had intended for the knitting to be done in magic loop method, which I do not know how to do. I am now attempting to figure out how to modify the pattern so it is knit flat.
